Wordless Wednesday

It's another blog hop Wordless Wednesday with Deb at Focusedonthemagic.com.  This week's theme is My Favorite View.  There are so many views at Disney that make me happy, but here's what came to mind after the initial thoughts of the park icons and the welcome signs.

I am still bitter about the Welcome Show being moved to the castle.  I have to admit that I still haven't seen the new show at the castle, but how can it beat this?   This show included one of my favorite songs of all time, that first view of the train pulling in with all the characters, all before you actually enter that magical world of the Magic Kingdom.  I mean come on, I can't be the only one that teared up every single time I saw this!

Join the fun, and share your favorite view!

  1. IKR! I loved the show in front! I haven't seen it by the castle. Just not the same spirit.

  2. Another magical sight! You know you have arrived when the train blows it's horn!

  3. I have to say, we've only seen the old welcome show once, and the new one once, but I liked the new one better because we weren't squished in the masses all pressing forward. Everyone was already in, had a spot to watch, and there was no trampling of my little people! Its always fun to see all of the charachters coming out though, no matter where it's at!

    1. I'm sure I'll see the new show eventually and I may not be as bitter then, as I'm sure it's just as magical, but I really did love the old show!

  4. I really wanted to see the opening at the station, shame we won't be able to do that now next year.

    1. You never know, they may change it back. It was originally moved due to the railroad being down for maintenance. However, the railroad has since opened back up and it still hasn't moved back. The only day we've been in the park since the change, we had an early ADR, so I don't have personal experience, but I'm sure the early hour on Main St. is nice at least!
