May/June 2019, Day 9: Animal Kingdom

 Our final day, boo.  We had a few fastpasses booked this day just in case we decided to go to the parks before leaving.  We've started realizing this works well for us with our girls at this age.  We go to the park for half a day to wear them out and then drive half a day, get one more night in a hotel, and then finish the drive the next day.  So, we got up early enough to pack up and load the car up for our departure. 

 We weren't real early arriving at Animal Kingdom, but we made it into the park right at official opening.  Our little girl was all ready for some exploring.

One advantage of arriving after park opening is getting to spot D'Vine.

LittleCJC was thrilled, so we stayed here a bit.  We then made our way to Pandora.

Our little cutie was all decked out in her Expedition Everest exploring gear that she got at the outlet mall. After a few quick pictures, we were ready to use our first fastpass at Flight of Passage, attraction #1.  We of course then used our rider swap also making Flight of Passage, attraction #2.  I didn't get any pictures this day inside the attraction, but I got this cutie waiting.

Before leaving Pandora, we stopped for another picture with the photographer.

Our next fastpass was at Expedition Everest.  We of course had to stop on the way though and get a picture of our explorer in front of the mountain.

Once we made it to Expedition Everest, attraction #3, we were eager to scan our bands and get on the ride.

We immediately switched so I could also ride which meant Expedition Everest, attraction #4.

Once both groups had ridden, we decided to stop for some ice cream.  LittleCJC got this fun rainbow colored cake pop too.

I think she was in snack heaven.  We had one fastpass left at Kali River Rapids, attraction #5

Dad refused to get wet before driving home, so LittleCJC only got one ride on this today.

 With all our original fastpasses now used, we decided to get some lunch.  On our way, we came across Kevin.

For lunch, we chose Flame Tree BBQ.  While here, LittleCJC decided she needed another picture.

My little girl can take a picture anywhere.  Here she is again, after lunch as we entered DinoLand.

We wanted to make sure LittleCGC got to ride something today, so we went straight to Triceratops Spin, attraction #6.  I think LittleCGC approved.

While here we decided to ride Dinosaur, but on the way we found Daisy, character #1 with no line so we stopped to say hi.

While big sis and Dad got in line for Dinosaur, little miss and I decided to visit with Launchpad McQuack, character #2.

Thankfully, Dad and LittleCJC got through the line quickly at Dinosaur, attraction #7.

On our way out of the park, we also found Russel and Dug, characters #3 and #4.  I love how LittleCGC was so excited for every character.

It's always so sad when it's time to leave the park for the last time, but we had a great trip!
