July 2019, Day 3; Magic Kingdom

We wouldn't be us, if we didn't have another early morning.  We had an early breakfast reservation at Be Our Guest so we were in the parking lot and ready to go by 6:30.

We made it to security just before they opened.

After a quick monorail ride, LittleCJC was in a hurry to get inside the park.

Even before the park opened, thankfully there were already photographers out in front of the castle.

We had a yummy breakfast at BOG.  I'm guessing prices have already gone up, but at this time, our two adult meals cost $28 each and the kids meal was $15.  I admittedly do like the breakfast here, but here is the main reason we decided on this breakfast.  By eating here before the park opened, we were able to get in front of this crazy rope drop crowd for our first ride, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, attraction #1.

9:00
Patrick actually took that video while LittleCJC and I were already in line.

We quickly switched riders and LittleCJC rode again with Patrick also making Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, attraction #2.

When they got done, we all jumped into line for Winnie the Pooh, attraction #3.  Once we were off this ride, we were able to use our first fastpass at Peter Pan's Flight, attraction #4.

We decided to take another flight, this time on Dumbo, attraction #5.

I know I've said it before, but I love how my girls think they always have to stop here at the stationary Dumbo to take their picture.  While here in the circus area, we decided to visit with some characters whose meet and greet opens at 10.

10:00
First up, was Daisy, character #1.

In this meet and greet, you meet 2 characters per side, so we also met Pluto, character #2.

Instead of waiting on the other side of the meet and greet for Donald and Goofy, we decided to ride The Barnstormer, attraction #6.

While exiting the barnstormer, we spotted our dear friend working the Dumbo attraction so of course we had to say hi.

LittleCJC then decided that she wanted to play in the Casey Jr Splash play area.

She had a blast playing here, but then ended up all upset because she was wet.  We warned her when she asked to play that she could, but that we did not have any spare clothes for her.  That did not change the outcome of her fit though.  Eventually, we were able to move on and we convinced her to spin dry on Mad Tea Party, attraction #7.

Even LittleCGC got to enjoy this one.

When we got off the ride, we noticed that Alice, character #3 was out meeting guest so we jumped in her line.

Even though she was happy on the ride, you can tell LittleCJC was still having a bit of a moment.  In fact, the photographer caught this great moment of her pouting while LittleCGC and I decided to go on without her before she decided to join us.

11:00
After a little more of a discussion with our little diva, we finally moved on to our next fastpass at Space Mountain, attraction #8.

When LittleCJC and Patrick were done, we immediately switched riders so that gives us Space Mountain, attraction #9.

12:00
At this point, we decided to wait out the line to visit Stitch, character #4.

As you can see, LittleCJC was still rocking the little flag they passed out on the fourth.  In fact, that little flag entertained her the entire time we were waiting in line.

In fact, this may just have been when she learned the song Party in the USA.  After our visit with Stitch, we crossed the hub and headed to Columbia Harbor House for some lunch.

1:00
During our lunch, we talked about our plans for the rest of the day and we were able to convince LittleCJC that to optimize her time she would benefit from not using rider swap on every ride. So, when we were done eating, LittleCJC and I used our next fastpass at Splash Mountain, attraction #10.

While LittleCJC and I were on the ride, Patrick was able to obtain a fastpass for himself and LittleCJC for Thunder Mountain, but we had a little time to spend elsewhere first.

2:00
So, we decided to explore Tom Sawyer Island, attraction #11.

LittleCJC loved exploring all the caves.

After about a half hour, we decided to return to the main land and Patrick and LittleCJC were ready to use their fastpass at Big Thunder Mountain, attraction #12.

3:00
They thankfully made it just in time.  In fact, I think they were the last train to pull in before the ride shut down due to lightning in the area.  This meant that the parade didn't step off at 3 either.  Considering it wasn't actually raining, we thought we might as well get a little snack while we decided what to do next.  We opted for the new churro ice cream sandwich from Sleepy Hollow.

Although this snack was yummy, it was very difficult to eat.  It was too big to eat as a sandwich, yet the churro was too hard to cut through.  It may have been funny figuring out, but we definitely ate all of it.  As we finished our snack, they were announcing that the parade was going to start soon.  So we decided to stop in front of the Hall of Presidents area just along the parade route.

This spot worked well for us this time.  The girls got to watch the parade make the turn and it seemed to put them at the perfect spot for everyone walking in the parade.

LittleCJC was excited to share everything with her little sister, and the girls got a lot of character interaction here.

The girls loved it and Patrick and I loved watching them take it all in.

4:00
At some point, we were able to pick up another fastpass, and we were now ready to use it at Haunted Mansion, attraction #13.

Poor LittleCGC fell asleep while on the ride, which turned out pretty cute when we spotted a photographer hanging around outside the mansion.

After asking LittleCJC what she wanted to do next, she surprised us by asking to do Echanted Tales with Belle, attraction #14.  We had to wait for a little longer than we would have liked, but we didn't really mind too much as the rain had finally blown in and we were protected from it where we were in line.

This time, our little girl was Mrs. Potts.

Here's our little girl in action.

If you've never been here, children (and a few adults) get to share the Beauty and the Beast story with Belle.  Once they've completed that Belle, character #5.

5:00
When we finished our tales with Belle, we quickly crossed fantasyland to visit with some more princesses.  First, was Rapunzel, character #6.

I don't think LittleCGC was able to take her eyes off of her.

Next up, was Tiana, character #7.

We decided it was time for another snack, and this time we picked the yummy donut from the lunching pad.  Once we finished, we were ready to use our next fastpass at Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, attraction #15.

6:00
I guess LittleCJC thought she had missed out, so we headed back to the Fairytale Hall so that we could visit Cinderella, character #8.

Next up, was Elena, character #9.

After our visit with the princesses, we were feeling a little over the rain, so we decided to shop through the Emporium on our way out.

We also decided to stop in to visit Tinkerbell, character #10.

When we finally left the park, we decided on the ferry.

By the time we made it to the parking lot, the rain had thankfully slowed, but unfortunately neither girl was in the stroller any longer.

In fact, LittleCJC seemed to prefer the rain at this point.

It may have rained, but we still had a great day.
