With our late night the day before, we opted not to get up super early to ride Hagrid's. We didn't totally sleep in, but we didn't get to the park an hour before opening either. Instead, we chose to go to Universal Studios during the early admission hour. We made our way to Diagon Alley and rode Escape from Gingotts to start our morning. LittleCGC wasn't ready to start her day just yet.
We swapped riders and LittleCJC got to ride a second time with me. After the ride, these girls and their dad were just too cute leaving this attraction.
We then enjoyed the mostly empty Diagon Alley to work on our magic spells.
We also needed to take some pictures since we were wearing our Hogwarts shirts.
By this point in our trip, LittleCGC was terrified of the dragon, so we needed to be sneaky in trying to get her picture here.
Again, we had to take our picture selfie style thanks to Covid.
LittleCGC was excited to do some magic herself.
Once the rest of the park opened, we moved on to Transformers. LittleCGC enjoyed taking pictures in the rider swap room.
We continued our way through Universal, riding Simpsons.
Of course, LittleCGC and I rode twirl n' hurl since she wasn't tall enough for Simpsons.
Even though she couldn't ride it, she wanted her picture with the Simpsons.
We also decided to try the big pink donut for a breakfast snack.
This girl cracks me up. She said "Look Mom, take my picture with the superhero."
She also rode twirl n' hurl again with Dad, while LittleCJC and I made our way to Men in Black.
We also wanted to make our way over to Woody Woodpecker's junior coaster.
In fact, we rode it twice.
We also visited the green planet.
We found so many characters at this time. First up, we found Branch.
We then came across the entire Shrek crew.
We also visited with the entire Despicable Me crew. I'm pretty sure we were hanging out in this area, waiting for a Bourne Stuntacular show.
We also took the time to watch the Marilyn show. LittleCJC loved this show.
It looks like LittleCJC then wanted to ride Jimmy Fallon, because my next pictures are of Hashtag.
We grabbed lunch from some of the Mardi Gras booths and found a place to sit where we could let the girls dance by this parade float.
These girls were so cute, and had so much fun getting new beads.
With our bellies full, we decided to move over to Islands of Adventure.
Since we took the extra path over, we entered the park in Seuss Landing, so we decided to stay for a bit.
We started with the carousel.
We also went on another spin with the Cat in the Hat.
We then figured we'd ride the High in the Sky tram too.
Look at all of LittleCJC's beads. I told you she really figured it out and got into the bead idea. You'll notice in the next picture, she had to bring her fan today, even though it's a Disney fan and we were at Universal.
We were lucky, and had scored a virtual line for Hagrid's. Unfortunately, the line was still really long. Thankfully, I took my carrier, because LittleCGC fell asleep quickly and ended up getting a nice snuggly nap.
LittleCJC rode the sidecar with Dad and the motorcycle with me.
I think LittleCJC and I rode Forbidden Journey while LittleCGC and dad rode Flight of the Hippogriff.
When we left the wizarding world, we had to check out the velocicoaster construction.
Considering I have this construction photo, it leads me to believe we circled the park. My guess is if we walked this way, it was for a reason and we rode something else, but I don't know what it was. What I know for sure, is that we eventually made our way back to the hotel to swim in the pool.
