February 2019, Day 3; Magic Kingdom

On this day, we were fortunate enough to have an early breakfast reservation at Be Our Guest.  This meant that we were ready to go and at the security gate by 7:45.

I think it was a good idea too, because look at this crowd.  From this point until exiting the monorail, it took 45 minutes.

You have to love when you're pushing that double stroller and no kids are even in it.  Anyway, we eventually made it into the park, down Main St, and to the Be Our Guest restaurant at Beast's castle.  If you haven't already noticed, we had Tinkerbell with us today, and she was ready this morning.

9:00

So we were still eating when the park actually opened up, but when we were done eating, we made our way to Tomorrowland.  If you've been following along on this vacation, you know that LittleCJC has reached a new height requirement and we were all excited for her first ride on Space Mountain.

So, LittleCJC and Patrick rode Space Mountain, attraction #1.

I love that she actually looks a little scared in this first photo, but she really did enjoy her ride.

While those two were on the ride, LittleCGC decided it was time for her breakfast.  As usual, she fell asleep.  I then discovered that snapchat had some fun filters for different rides.

Our timing worked nicely, and LittleCGC and I were ready about the same time LittleCJC and Patrick were done.  So, LittleCJC and I rode Space Mountain, attraction #2.

While we were on the ride, Patrick found a photographer and got his picture taken with a sleepy girl.

10:00
While still in Tomorrowland, we decided to ride Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, attraction #3.

Little Miss woke up while in line, so she got to ride with Daddy.

After leaving Buzz, we decided to stop by the castle for that mandatory picture.

We came across this photographer on the side first, so we thought we'd try something different.  The view's okay here, but the sun was in our eyes, so not the best picture.  Once we moved on, we decided to wait for Winnie the Pooh, character #1 and Tigger, character #2.

Of course, by the time we got our picture, she was asleep again.  You can't take a 4 month old to Disney without remembering that they eat and sleep all day long.

11:00
After our meeting at Pooh's corner, we were ready for our first fastpass of the day.  Patrick and LittleCJC rode Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, attraction #4

While they were on the ride, I found another ride snapchat filter.  By this point, I had the idea that I might be able to get a picture of me nursing at every ride by the end of the week.  Obviously, that wasn't going to happen, but I did start making a point of taking a picture every time we stopped somewhere while LittleCGC nursed.

When little miss was finished, I handed her over to Dad so that I could take my turn with LittleCJC on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, attraction #5.

With this heavy hitter out of the way, we left Fantasyland so that we could use our next fastpass in Frontierland.

12:00
So again, LittleCGC was needing some Mom time, so Dad rode with LittleCJC first on Big Thunder Mountain, attraction #6.

In the meantime, I found a quiet spot along the riverfront to take care of my baby.  Apparently there were no fun filters here, but I still got the picture.

While here, we of course rider swapped when everyone was ready making Big Thunder Mountain, attraction #7

By this time, I guess we had looked at our pictures on the app and weren't thrilled with what we got in front of the castle this morning, so we decided to head back there since we had a little time to kill before our next fastpass.  We made it to the castle in time to watch a little of the Move it Shake it parade.  Of course, when the parade ended and we reached a photographer, little miss was asleep again.

1:00

Wouldn't you know, the sun was still in our eyes.

I think this one might be my favorite.

That was worth walking back for, right?

Anyway, our purpose was served and we were ready now for our next fastpass, back in Frontierland.  So, we walked back and rode Splash Mountain, attraction #8.

As always, once LittleCJC and Daddy were done we swapped places so LittleCJC could ride again with me, making Splash Mountain, attraction #9.

While we were on the ride, Daddy found a rocking chair nearby.  A good thing to remember when here with baby.

2:00
So, even though it's now 2:00, we still hadn't stopped for lunch and it was time to fix that.  We stopped at the Frontierland Outpost for some chicken nuggets and buffalo cauliflower.  So good, and the benches worked out well for us to give LittleCGC a little time to stretch out.

With LittleCJC dressed as Tinkerbell today, we knew we needed to make that meet and greet happen.  We were fortunate to grab a new fastpass, but that meant we were in for another trek across the park.  Unfortunately, it was also time for the Festival of Fantasy parade, so this took a little maneuvering through the crowd.

3:00
No fear, we made it through and met Tinkerbell, character #3.

I think LittleCGC was in awe.

And my LittleCJC looks pretty cute too.

With two happy girls in tow, I was excited to finally take LittleCGC on It's a Small World.  My family enjoys this classic and we actually decorated LittleCGC's room to that theme.  I thought she would really enjoy everything about the ride and I couldn't wait to watch.  So, with a new fastpass in hand, we made our way to It's a Small World, attraction #10.

Wouldn't you know, the little stinker fell asleep just as we were getting ready to board the boat.

Well, so much for watching her reactions, but of course I still had to take a few pictures since she was so adorable.  Once we were off the ride, we decided to check in on Peter Pans line since we thought it would be super cute for our Tinkerbell to get her picture taken with him.  We were in luck, and met Peter Pan, character #4.

I love her excitement.  Actually, I think it's the energy oh Peter Pan.  This has always been a fun meet and greet every time we've stopped.

4:00
LittleCJC remembered the Pirates of the Seven Seas scavenger hunt and had been bugging us to get back to Adventureland so she could try it again.  So, Daddy obliged while I took some time again with LittleCGC.

I even found another snapchat filter.

I swear I wasn't in the restroom though, only out front.  Even when little miss finished, we continued to sit here until LittleCJC finished because she was so happy out of a carrier and stroller.

5:00
At some point, we had picked up a fastpass for the pirates ride, so none of us minded letting LittleCJC finish as many scavenger hunts as she wanted.  When she decided she was done, we were able to meet Captain Jack Sparrow, character #5.

By this time, we were able to use our fastpass at Pirates of the Caribbean, attraction #11.  As soon as we scanned our bans we started looking for another fastpass and were rewarded with one for Jungle Cruise.

6:00
We had just a little time before we could scan in, so we opted for a popcorn snack while I stopped to take care of LittleCGC again.

Once everyone finished their snacks, we were able to scan our bands at Jungle Cruise, attraction #12.

7:00
After our evening cruise, we were able to pick up one last fastpass for Dumbo.  So, across the park again we went.

It probably wasn't really needed, but we used it anyway at Dumbo, attraction #13.  A little secret, that I may have shared here before, we sometimes get a fastpass here just so we don't have to play in the play area when we know there won't be much of a line.  Don't get me wrong, we love the play area here and think it's a brilliant way to wait your turn to ride, but we don't always want to spend our time here.

I love how beautiful this ride is at night.

If it isn't too crowded, LittleCJC always likes to stop here at this stationary Dumbo for a picture.

The park closed at 8:00 tonight, and instead of trying to race to one last ride, we decided to make our way to the front of the park and beat the crowd out.  We typically never do this, so I'm not sure why we did on this evening.  I remember LittleCJC asleep on the ferryboat, so maybe she fell asleep before we even made it to the front of the park, I'm not sure.  Either way, it was kind of nice getting directly on the boat and then watching the fireworks from the boat too.

I was also able to grab a seat to attend to LittleCGC as well, so that was another bonus.

Overall, we maybe didn't have as crazy of a day as we usually do, but it was a great day none the less.  I also had this little snapchat video that shows what our evenings were like on this trip.

I'm sure I've mentioned before, but we had never been at this time of year before.  We loved it, especially the lower crowds, but between the shortened hours and the baby we definitely had a different trip than normal when it came to our days and time spent in the hotels.  I think that's for another day though.
